Baluleni Riverview Guesthouse, within Parsons Nature Reserve, is situated in big 5 country along the shore of the Olifants River in the Greater Kruger National Park.
The guest house consists of 5 double bedrooms of which 2 bedrooms each have a double and a single bed. It is personally and tastefully decorated and has a homely, yet elegant feel to it. Oil paintings of the Bushveld, painted by the owner, grace the walls.
The river is visible, whether you are sitting in the lounge, the dining room or the veranda, and animal sightings are a daily occurrence. Vervet Monkeys and Hippos especially call the surrounding area their home.
The food is prepared, and tastefully presented, by the owner, who is a qualified Cordon-Bleu Chef, as well as a local assistant chef. Special requests are catered for (Vegetarian and Vegan friendly).
Baluleni Riverview Guest House is the ideal place to relax and unwind in total privacy, but also offers private game drives, bush walks, boma dinners and al-fresco dining.
The Kruger National Park, surrounding towns, and other activities such as the Cheetah Breeding Project, Panorama Route, Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre, or Jessica the Hippo, are within a short driving distance.
Access to the Guest House is via a 12 kilometer dirt road, and although it is passable by normal car most of the year, it is recommended to travel with a vehicle with higher ground clearance.
